If The Foundations Be Destroyed. Psalm 11:3

What are the foundations the Psalmist is referring to? The foundations are those principles, beliefs, and truths on which a society and culture are built. The Israelite community was built on the foundation of truth, righteousness, justice, and a belief in God Almighty. God revealed Himself through creation, natural revelation. He also revealed Himself through Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, and other prophets. Through them, He revealed His law and His will, written revelation.

According to theologian Albert Barnes (around 200 years ago), the psalmist is describing a society or culture in which the, “Truth is no longer respected, when justice is no longer practiced, when fraud and violence have taken the place of honesty and honor, when error prevails, and when integrity and virtue no longer afford any security to the righteous man and woman.”

It is a society that neither acknowledges nor submits to its Creator. Such a society is hardly fit for life. Do we flee to the mountains as the Psalmist suggests in verse one, or do we stand and fight? If we fight, what are our weapons?

Honestly, is the USA becoming more or less righteous with each passing year? With all our Christian schools, universities, churches, mega churches, Christian books, conferences, TV, and Christian not-for-profit agencies, what direction is the USA heading? Are we becoming more or less Christian, moral, and righteous?

Obviously, we are becoming less and less righteous as a nation. This is especially true in the past 70 years. We are in a war for the moral foundations of the United States of America and Western civilization. It is a culture war and a battle for the destiny of our great land. This Christian foundation is the reason why God has blessed this nation so much. When any nation turns its back on God, the blessings are replaced with curses. Our moral decay is on full display in all its ugliness. And our standard of living is being eroded, threatened, and cursed as I write this. God is withdrawing His hand of protection and blessings. Increasingly, we are aware that we now live in a post-Christian era in the USA. Obama, during his presidency, said that whatever the USA was in the past, it is no longer a Christian nation. He greatly contributed to destroying our Christian moral foundation. I would hate to be him when God judges the quick and the dead.

In the end, this fall from grace is caused by the false idea that the truth is subjective, relative, and situational. Based on this, we see the war being fought against the following three pillars of morality.

1. The authority of the Word of God.
2. The creation of the universe by the God of the Bible and not by purposeless evolutionary forces.
3. God Himself is the rightful sovereign of the universe, who will judge humanity according to His laws.

This is a battle against God and His authority over His creation. God embodies truth, which is objective, absolute, and universally applicable. The following are some specific ways this attack has been carried out over the past few hundred years. Extensive volumes have been written on each topic, providing a much deeper and broader perspective on the assault. Below are a few key points that help quickly assess the situation we face.

In every century, there are signs or tokens of God’s movement amid the deepening corruption of our moral foundation. In the eighteenth century;

• John Wesley (1703-1798) and George Whitfield (1714-1770) led great revivals in England and the US. The impact of Wesley and Whitfield can hardly be overstated. Included in the work of God is the 1730 and 1740 Great Awakening in the USA, as led by Jonathan Edwards. This too was a mighty move of God changing the destiny of individuals, cities, states, and our nation.
• At the same time, German higher criticism of scripture began in the 1750s and from then on, on all continents, henceforth. This is liberalism or progressivism of scripture. It is still going on today, as seen in many once-Christian denominations and seminaries. All of this is an attack on the accuracy, credibility, and authority of the God of the Bible. It was meant to and did destroy confidence in the Word of God. The miracles in scripture were discounted, and the literary and literal history of the Bible was disputed as being inaccurate and not trustworthy. Many of the supposed errors have been cleared up, but the damage has been done. Like today, when a news agency disseminates false information, the retraction is buried in the fine print if it is ever acknowledged. But the damage is done because few are those who discover the truth. For instance, archeological discoveries continue to validate the real history of nations and, in particular, the nation of Israel as revealed in scripture. The City of Jericho is a prime example. For many years, it was disputed as a historical fact, but then archeological evidence of its existence was found.
• In the late 1700, godless men began an assault on the geologic history of the Bible and suggested that the age of the earth was much greater than believers supposed from a simple reading of the Bible. This included the assumption of a geologic column with much greater ages for the world and universe than described in the Bible. Although not said, the inference was that the Bible was in error and therefore not to be trusted. Instead, trust men of science who know more than you do. Today, we are fighting the same lie that educated men or women should be trusted because they are educated. Some of the most ungodly and wicked people are well educated but not wise and not righteous.
• Uniformitarianism began its march through academia and society in the late 1700s. This idea says the present is the key to the past. It was adopted and transformed our thinking about historical science in particular. It basically eliminated miracles, Biblical creation, and the Noahic flood as these events were unprecedented one-time events which refuted the idea that the present is the key to the past. Uniformitarianism assumes that if things decay at a specific rate today, they have always decayed at the very same rate. It is not provable, knowable, or even reasonable, yet it is assumed. It is very much a religious tenet to the evolutionists.
• Today, we see the animal kinds bring forth the same kind of animal in great variations. There is never an exception. Suppose the present is the key to the past, as evolutionists maintain. In that case, it is contradictory to say that animals today (in the present) were completely and substantially different kinds in the past.

As the world moved into the 19^th century, we know from history that God was also on the move. Our enemy was not asleep either.

• Revivals of the early and mid-1800s under men such as Charles Finney demonstrate that God was moving. Then there was the Great Revival of 1857. Finney is credited with influencing culture in the USA more than anyone else. These moves of God changed individual lives but also dramatically improved the health and morality of towns, cities, states, and the nation here and in England. For instance, Finney did not believe a person could be a genuine Christian and slave owner at the same time. As the first and second Presidents of Oberlin College, Asa Mahan and then Charles Finney, required that black male and female students be permitted to enroll. It was one of the first colleges to do so, if not the first, in this nation. During these moves of God, jails were emptied, bars were closed, families became nurturing places, businesses became honest, crime was eliminated to a great extent, and churches were filled up.
• 1841 Sir Richard Owen invented the word “dinosaur”. Until now, the KJV of the Bible used other words to describe these animals. They were called dragons, leviathan, behemoth, and fiery serpents. At first glance, this seems like a trivial thing to mention, but it isn’t. As noted later in this document, theologians and scholars began to make changes to the KJV of the Bible and to Biblical commentaries to accommodate evolutionary ideas, including the idea of dinosaurs becoming extinct before humans appeared. In many study Bibles today, you will find footnotes that attempt to explain KJV words for dinosaurs as examples of animals alive today! That is truly pathetic. Most of these Christian scholars believe the dogma that dinosaurs lived 60-70 million years before man. But that is not what the Bible teaches. Men and dinosaurs, dragons, leviathan, or behemoth lived together. You will not find the word dinosaur in the KJV of the Bible because the word was not invented until 1841. You will not find the word dinosaur in current translations of the Bible because evolutionary thinking has corrupted the minds of many theologians, teachers, and pastors. Using this new word, dinosaur, significantly accelerated the move away from using the Bible as the authoritative source for the knowledge of the creation of the universe and all living things.
• Around this time, concern regarding the supposed overpopulation of the earth gained momentum. Thomas Robert Malthus (1766-1834) wrote an essay regarding this topic, suggesting that population growth was far exceeding the growth in the production of food. This, in turn, was supposed to end in disaster if population growth was not curtailed. Charles Darwin and other world leaders were influenced by this idea. The Earth’s overpopulation is a contemporary issue today. Combined with another falsehood, that of man-made climate change being an existential threat to civilization requiring immediate and draconian measures to lessen our negative impact, these are creating much more immediate and consequential problems for humanity all around the world.
• 1848 Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels wrote the Communist Manifesto. In summary form these are the 10 goals in brief. 1) abolish private property rights 2) implement a graduated progressive income tax 3) Abolish all rights of inheritance 4) Confiscation of the property of certain groups 5) Government control of credit into the hands of the state via a national bank 6) Government control of the means of communication and transportation 7) Government control of factories and food production 8) Government control over labor 9) Government control over the population and where they reside, regional planning 10) Government control over free education for all children in public schools. Combine education with manufacturing or industrial production.
• You might recognize that the USA had adopted many of these communist manifesto principles. Moreover, many of these concepts stand squarely against Biblical truth. For instance, ownership of property is essential to a free people, yet their manifesto eliminates it. The God of scripture divided the land, given to Israel, so that the people of all 12 tribes had their land to cultivate. Those who have ownership in property are the best keepers of that property. Tenants, no matter how caring they may appear, will never maintain a property with the diligence, effectiveness, and pride of an owner. Owners of a farm will work harder and more efficiently than laborers on someone else’s farm. Communism removes personal incentives and mistakenly thinks that people are motivated to serve the state. Communism is all about what the left today tells us about “equity”, meaning equal outcomes even if the person is lazy and corrupt, having squandered their equal opportunity to succeed. The stupidity of communism is hard to understand. Capitalism was thought to be the cause of much of the evil when this manifesto was written. Too much wealth was concentrated in the hands of too few people who used the poor as slaves to create wealth for themselves. There is some truth in that. No system of government, by man, is free from corruption because mankind is selfish. However, Communism, where the state decides what is right and what is wrong and not the God of scripture, is responsible for the murder of many 10s of millions of its citizens and the persecution of an unknown number of Christians and other “rebels” who would not become robotic slaves of the godless state. Also, communism is the most inefficient plan ever thought of. Communists love Darwin’s theory of evolution because they need to eliminate any competition to their rule over mankind. Evolution and communism remove God and His law from the equation. Their number one enemy is the real believer in Jesus Christ, the Creator God of the universe.
• The Communist Manifesto, together with the eight rules for Communist revolution, provides excellent insight into the mind of the enemy. Not sure where these eight rules came from, but supposedly, they date back to Germany around the turn of the 20^th century. The principles are accurate even if the document is not official. To take over a country from within, these revolutionary principles will be required. 1) corrupt the young, 2) break down old moral virtues 3) encourage civil disorder and a soft government attitude toward crime 4) divide the people into hostile groups (race, religion and so on 5) get the peoples mind off their government focusing their attention on athletics, sex and so on 6) get control of the media 7) destroy people’s faith in their leaders 8) cause the registration of all firearms and eventually the confiscation of all firearms.
• Isn’t it fascinating and frightening, at the same time, that our beloved country is witnessing all of these eight strategies in our present day? Over the last couple of years, we have watched in horror as the mainstream media and Democrats “encourage civil disorder and a soft government attitude toward crime.” Think of the riots in many cities during the pandemic and the current high crime in Democrat-run towns across the country.
• Communist nations and those nations headed toward a Communist type state, around the world, employ these strategies and tactics. Volumes have been written on each of these eight goals. They are readily apparent in our nation. In case you are unsure, the Democrat Party and its leadership employ these principles outlined in the Communist Manifesto and the Rules for Revolution, in everything they do or don’t do or say, and everything they support. If it quacks like a duck, walks like a duck, and looks like a duck……………..it’s a squirrel, if you believe the Democrats.
• Is anyone so deluded that they think Democrats honestly care about victims of crimes involving guns? If it is true that they do care, then how come Democrats don’t seem to care at all about victims of other non-gun crimes, as they let lawlessness overtake the cities they run. Their hypocrisy knows no limits. They know that to take over this nation, it will be necessary to take away guns from the citizens. That is the only reason they are so concerned about “gun violence.” Guns owned by patriots represent a threat to their totalitarian aspirations. The phrase “gun violence” is nothing but a lie and blatant leftist propaganda. Guns, knives, cars, rocks, and so on are inanimate (non-thinking, non-living) objects that can all be used for violent purposes by evil people. But these tools are not in themselves good, cruel, or violent.
• Why do Democrats never talk about the violence of abortion? The number of people killed with guns pales in comparison to the number of babies killed by abortion. The Democrat Party is the party of racism, violence, death, and all manner of evil. That is not to say that there aren’t wicked Republicans; there are. But the Democrats, by far, are the most dangerous. The Democratic Party is in full support of baby killing (abortion) until the moment of birth. It is a main article on their platform.
• One last example for consideration. We have all heard about “White Privilege,” which is nothing but pure racism by the left. The Democratic Party calls everyone who disagrees with their stupidity a name, especially a racist. They are constantly dividing this nation by race and tearing it apart into hostile groups (goal 4). If there is any systematic racism, it is all ginned up and practiced by Democrats. Tell the millions of whites who live in poverty that they are unfairly reaping the benefits of “white privilege,” and you may get stoned. Then we can listen to the left whine about “stone violence” and threaten us with taking away our rocks. We should be talking about “Democrat or Leftist Privilege.” Democrats constantly break laws and are not held accountable. Democrats get caught and deny their culpability. They get pressed and continue to deny their guilt when it is evident to the whole world. Weak Republicans let them get away with it. Where are the righteous leaders?
• In 1859, Charles Darwin wrote and published his infamous and racist book that the whole world now believes is true, The Origin of Species and the Preservation of Favored Races by means of natural selection. His subsequent book, The Decent of Man, expounded on the racism contained in his first book. Darwin is the father of the theory of evolution, which is an explanation of reality without the existence and interference of a creator God. Darwin expounded on thoughts regarding evolution that he was influenced by as he grew up. He supplied a mechanism for this to become plausible.
• Civil War 1860-1864. Abraham Lincoln believed that this war was due in part to the theft, which he thought was the great sin of slavery, and the blood spilled by the slave owner. The war was a very bloody one, costing many thousands of lives to purge the soil of the guilt of innocent blood finally. Makes one think about the 62 million children killed by abortion in the USA and the 1.5 billion killed around the world. What price will this nation and all other nations pay for such a greater evil? God has not forgotten.
• Around 1880, two nominal Christian scholars (Wescott and Hort), who loved Darwin’s book as did Hitler, Stalin, et al, told us that the underlying Greek text for the KJV of the Bible was full of errors. They proceeded to give us a new Greek text for the New Testament based mainly on two older texts of ancient scripture that they believed were more accurate. Older doesn’t mean better, as they assumed. They corrupted the Word of God, and that corruption is seen, to some degree, in every subsequent translation of the Bible to our present day. What is the end result of this manipulation of the Word of God? This has significantly eroded confidence in the accuracy, credibility, inerrancy, and authority of God’s Word as absolute truth. A significant number of Evangelicals today do not believe in absolute truth, according to the polls I have read about.
• Thereafter, Christian scholars and theologians created Bibles and commentaries that agree with evolutionary ideas to accommodate so-called science. In addition, they began to use the newer versions of the Bible, which created doubt about the accuracy of scripture, and to assert themselves as needed experts in understanding scripture. In doing this, they destroyed the foundation of Western civilization in a profound and far-reaching way. Their compromises are a curse to the world and a direct assault on the Creator and His written word.
• Scopes Trial of 1925 was argued by an inadequately educated Christian lawyer who was poorly equipped to answer even basic questions about creation. The ACLU brought the case on behalf of a teacher (John Scopes) who supposedly wanted to teach evolution in public schools, which was then against the law in about 20-30 states in the USA. The trial revealed to the world that Christians do not have answers to some basic questions about reality and the creation account as outlined in the Bible. We were made to look stupid and superstitious. By around 1968, the last of these laws prohibiting the teaching of evolution was repealed. Today, the theory of evolution dominates the textbooks at all school levels.
• Christians today are mostly unprepared to address questions about creation and evolution. They have been convinced that science has disproven the account of creation given in the Bible, which is not true, nor has it ever been true. Of critical importance is the question about the age of the Earth. Is it billions of years old, or is it, as the Bible describes, just thousands of years old? One might never know it, but many real scientists believe in a young, not old, earth. There is ample scientific data to come to that conclusion, and abundant scientific evidence to reject an old world. More importantly, the scripture is unequivocal on what it teaches.
• Basic questions are often asked by those who are evolutionists or by those Christians who espouse an evolutionary position, such as the gap theory, day/age theory, progressive creationism, theistic evolution, etc. Very few real Christians have any intelligent and convincing answers. Yet, the Bible and science provide those answers. We have been and are being brainwashed daily by a godless worldview promoted by our secular leaders and our compromised Christian leaders.

The saga continues into the 20^th century.  Below are a few highlights.

• 1933 The Humanist Manifesto. John Dewey was one of the signers of this document and a key leader in the assault on our Christian foundations via the educational system in our country. Dewey was a communist, and he knew that the way to change this nation was to train the teachers to provide secular, definitely not Biblical, answers to life’s questions. This manifesto and subsequent editions of it do their best to explain life, origins, and morality without God. It is a naturalistic explanation of reality and a pathetic assault on God. Instead of God deciding what is right and what is wrong, the state does, and of course, they run the state. Man, therefore, becomes God, and that is why good is called evil today and evil is called good. However, despite their efforts to eliminate God, there are still no atheists in foxholes. They will be judged by the God who decides what is evil and what is good, their Creator.
• 1954 Johnson Amendment. The Christian Church gave up its right and duty to critique politicians and leaders in exchange for 501-c-3 status. This compromise, it is believed, gave churches property tax exemption and the ability to receive gifts that would be income tax deductible to the giver. We sold our voice for 30 pieces of silver. Today, few churches take any stand at all on political or moral issues. Some churches even encourage their members not to vote or get involved in any way in politics. Then millions of so-called Christians don’t vote at all, or they vote for unrighteousness and against the God who created them. Edmund Burke once said, “All it takes for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.” Do we dare call ourselves disciples of Christ and yet not vote for righteousness?
• Around the mid-20th century, the Church stopped critiquing Hollywood’s TV and movies, and you see the filth that has resulted. The Hayes Code (1934-1968) was a moral code for determining which movies were acceptable. It prohibited profanity, suggestive nudity, graphic or realistic violence, sexual persuasions, and rape. It is my understanding that a group of religious leaders was involved in the governance of this. After this ended in 1968, the decision was handed over to moviegoers to determine what was acceptable. The film-making industry provided a new rating system. The result: movies and TV that were rated XXX a few years ago are now streamed into our living rooms at will. Everything that the God of the Bible says is wicked is now brought to us in living color with ample encouragement to embrace the darkness. Pornography is everywhere, even in TV commercials. Homosexuality, gay marriage, and gender fluidity are now shown in the most attractive and respectful ways. We are told that these sins are not a problem and should not be condemned. Instead, these sins and those who practice them should be encouraged and even celebrated for coming out of the closet. God, through the prophet Isaiah, responds, “They declare their sin like Sodom, they hid it not.” Those conservatives, who hold to Biblical values, are the problem, not the adulterer, not the homosexual, and not the ungodly. Nightly, we are brainwashed by what we watch on TV, and our discernment is destroyed. In the 60s, the liberals or leftists screamed and rioted about free speech and censorship of the right. Today, these hypocrites attack free speech and mandate censorship. If they don’t like what the right is saying, they call it disinformation, hate speech, or Russian propaganda, and they cancel it. If you believe they have any integrity at all, you are greatly deceived.
• In June 1962, Christian prayer, a few years later, the 10 commandments, were taken out of the public schools, courts, and government buildings. Godlessness and the religion of humanism were substituted. This was the period of the sexual revolution in the mid to late 1960s. It was also the period in which the use of mind-altering drugs, eastern religions, and the occult were experimented with. Lawlessness, promiscuity, and violence exploded. Couples living together in an unmarried state increased exponentially. Not many years later, no-fault divorce was approved, and nearly half of all marriages end in divorce. Broken families leave broken lives and broken children in their wake. Unplanned pregnancy skyrocketed. Guess what came next?
• In January 1973, the Supreme Court of our land made baby killing legal. From that decision to today, over 62 million babies in the USA have been slaughtered in the womb in the most cruel and demonic ways. Today, because the Democrat Party and media have branded this a matter of choice and hidden the truth that the “choice” is to murder a baby (the living baby is not the woman’s body but is a distinct new life), we have murdered all these children. This is the only law in our nation that permits the killing of another person, an innocent person, for any reason whatsoever. Appallingly, very few feel any shame whatsoever at this demonic practice that the Democrat Party champions. Our Democrat Party makes the Nazis look like Cub Scouts. Then there are those fake Christians who say they love God and are pro-choice. Hell will be the end for all such deceived hypocrites if they don’t repent of this great evil. Only the truth will set them free.
• Over several decades from the mid-1960s, the homosexual community began to fight for rights based on their sexual preference or sexual orientation. It culminated in the Supreme Court decision giving homosexuals the right to marry in June 2015 under then-President Barack Obama. For thousands of years, homosexuality was known to be a moral sexual perversion, but now it is called good, natural, and normal. Man can call it whatever they want, but God says it is sin and an abomination in His eyes. In the past, God destroyed nations for practicing child sacrifice (baby killing) and homosexuality or sodomy. If God never changes, then what do you think He is going to do to nations today who practice these same sins? The God of the Old Testament is the same in the New Testament. He is the one true God of light, truth, holiness, and justice, which are all attributes of His love.
• During this time, our elitists began the inevitable redefinition of what constitutes a family. This redefinition is complete, and today, deviant forms of family are praised. God weeps and becomes angry at our wicked stupidity.
• Joseph Fletcher (1905-1991) wrote a book in 1966 titled “Situation Ethics”. For a time, he was a professor at Harvard in ethics. He was also a highly regarded Christian thinker in philosophy, theology, and bioethics. He had much influence over the Christian world. Later in life, he rejected Christianity and embraced communism, a view he had already held. His book on Situation Ethics stated that “we should obey the rules until we need to break them for reasons of love. It was based on agape love (Christian unconditional love), and says that we should always do the most loving thing in any situation.” (Google and Wikipedia) And how easy it has been ever since to detach the truth from the feelings of what many call love. In other words, the end justifies the means, which is contrary to Biblical agape love. The kind of love the Bible requires of us is the truth-telling, God obeying, sacrificial type of love, not mere feelings of affection, compassion, sympathy, and concern. These feelings and emotions, unchecked by the Word of God, lead people to believe that God accepts gay marriage, the murder of babies, and other violations of His laws. God’s love, that pertains to salvation, is conditional, contrary to Fletcher’s thinking, while God’s general benevolent love is unconditional. I believe Fletcher championed the cause of Margaret Sanger’s Planned Parenthood and broad-based euthanasia as well. If he ever was a real Christian, he made a shipwreck of his faith and was an apostate. His evil influence dies hard.
• Atheistic governments murdered many tens of millions of their own citizens, including Bible believing Christians, around the world. Today, these godless socialists and communists are doing everything they can to overthrow our government and introduce some form of socialism in the USA.Socialism, Fascism, Marxism, and Communism are all statists, even though they disagree on several other points. They all believe the state, that they run, gives its citizens rights, not God. In the USA Constitution, we know our rights come from God and not the state. This truth comes directly from the Bible. If our rights come from the state, the state can take them away. But if they come from God, these rights can’t be taken away by the state. They also believe that they get to define morality and decide what is right and what is wrong. The progressives, communists, and socialists know that the only thing that keeps them from taking over the entire world is the Biblical worldview held by Bible believing Christians. True Christians will never submit to their demonic agenda.
• In this century, we see a continual decline in the morality of the nominal Church of Christ and the world. In the prior two centuries, the great movements of God not only transformed individual lives, but they also transformed entire towns, cities, and nations. Movements of God in this century in the USA, some of which are real, include much that is most assuredly not of God. What today is thought of as Christian would not have been believed Christian not that many years earlier. Many of the mega Christian churches are big on signs, wonders, and positive talk but short on repentance, holiness, and righteousness. Today’s church gathering is much more like a spectator sport or a secular concert than an encounter with the living God.
• A typical statement of faith, in an evangelical church, states that the Bible is the word of God and authoritative in matters of faith and practice. Is the Bible authoritative regarding the history it addresses? How about biology, anthropology, cosmology, and other branches of science? If the Bible speaks on these subjects, is it to be believed? Christians have been told that faith and practice belong to the church, and the secular government schools teach biology, anthropology, and other sciences. Kids today are told that science has proven the Bible is wrong about many “scientific” realities. About 75% of Christian kids lose their faith in secular universities because they have not been taught by their churches, parents, or Christian schools that the Bible has excellent answers to all these questions about evolution. The Bible is a history book of the universe and is authoritative in everything it addresses because it is rooted in both physical and spiritual realities. Many archeological findings have silenced skeptics. The church has compromised the authority and credibility of the Bible to appease evolutionary thinkers, not real science. The Bible and science are compatible and not at odds. The Bible is at odds with the theory of evolution, which is not science. Yet the church has become mute instead of addressing the issues head-on. Why? It must be that the church doesn’t believe the Bible is the very Word of God and is therefore true in all that it claims.

We move into the 21^st century, and the assault on God and His word continues but gains steam.

• Christian parents continue to send their kids to government-run schools, apparently not realizing that these schools are all about destroying faith in the Bible, belief in the God of the Bible, and indoctrinating their children into leftist progressive (communist, socialist) thinking. Christian parents, wake up before it is too late. If you need to, live in a tent or a mobile home, before you send your child to a government-run school. In those schools, your children are taught that science has proven that the Bible is not trustworthy, especially in the area of evolution. Science has proven the Bible is wrong about the history of the universe and creation in particular, so why should anyone believe anything about what it says is true regarding morality and spirituality? If the Bible is wrong about the creation of the universe, then how can it be right about homosexuality, adultery, drunkenness, fornication, theft, gender, murder, and so on? Are you going to let your children be taught that they can pick their gender but not their sexual habits and sexual orientation? The left believes that some people are born homosexual and that they can’t change. These same lunatics believe that children, born a specific gender, can change their gender but not their sexual orientation. What madness we put our children through.
• However, science has not proved evolution because it is not testable or provable. Science deals with observation, experimentation, and testing, yet scientists make erroneous speculations about various matters that are not part of real science. Most of these scientists are already committed to an explanation of reality without the existence of God. They begin their work assuming the non-existence of God and provide answers for reality that are completely materialistic. It is their pride that has blinded their eyes. If you start wrong, you will end wrong. Only someone omniscient can know if there is no God. Are scientists omniscient? They may pretend to be, but we must rebuke their arrogance. A scientist can’t know that God doesn’t exist and that God didn’t create the universe. Therefore, the possibility of His existence and His role in creation must be allowed in any discussion regarding origins and life. To exclude from discussion the possibility of a supreme being is to assume that position for yourself, for only God knows if there is no God. Atheists declare that there is no God, but they assume they know everything (and only God knows everything) in being able to make such an absurd and arrogant statement.
• In the last century, the Supreme Court erroneously found that the Constitution requires a separation of church and state. Public schools, secular universities, city, state, and federal agencies now enforce a false separation between church and state to eliminate all Biblical morality from consideration. We all know that this separation is bogus and that the Constitution wants the state to keep out of society’s free religious exercise. The framers of the Constitution did not like the state to sponsor a particular religion, as was the case in other countries from which they fled, so that they may enjoy religious liberty. Our godless judges on the highest court in the land found a way to kick God and His law out of public schools and governmental agencies. This helps explain the moral anarchy we see all around us each day.
• In June of 2015, the Supreme Court of the land approved the legal marriage of couples of the same sex, gay marriage. Sodom and Gomorrah began to blush, and the devil began to celebrate. God has not changed, and people ignore Him at the peril of their souls. The judgment of God on this nation is ineluctable.
• Today, we are told that gender is fluid, but the Word of God says that He made two genders, male and female. If Christians don’t believe in the creation account of scripture, then why should anyone believe in what the Bible says about gender, or marriage, or anything else, for that matter?
• In June of 2022, the Supreme Court of the land overturned Roe v Wade and handed the abortion decision (baby killing) back to the states. Some Red states quickly reduced or eliminated abortion on demand. Blue or Democrat States began to rage, riot, and the challenges started. Democrats and others want to be able to kill babies up to the moment of birth. Some have proposed killing babies even after they are born. And why not? The Democrat Party is the champion of violence, death, slavery, and debauchery of all kinds. Some Republicans are not much better.
• Today, the ungodly deny there is any evidence of voter fraud in the 2020 Presidential election and other elections. But we have mountains of evidence, such as dead people voting, illegal aliens voting, more votes than registered voters, machines that weight votes and flip them for a particular candidate. Where is the evidence, they say? Ballots are counted in secret, and ballots are brought in after hours in secret, all of which is done illegally. Moreover, there is an excellent resistance to having a forensic audit of the ballots, which is the only way citizens will have confidence in future elections. If there is nothing to hide, why do they hide by refusing to examine the ballots and machines? Democrats and RINOs do not want the truth to come out; therefore, they refuse to audit the election results and to clean up the election process to ensure no fraud is committed. We must have integrity in our elections. There is no other valid explanation for their refusal than their knowledge that cheating takes place in our elections. Their bogus complaints about disenfranchising minority voters are as false as their claim of having integrity. It is not a stretch to believe that baby killers and rabid liars will steal elections as long as they can or as long as we let them.
• Our enemies know that the way to destroy our country is from within. It is working very well. We are now more divided than ever. The primary entity that needs to be flipped is the Church of Jesus Christ, which is the only force standing in the way of this country becoming a godless country like other communist countries around the world. If a nation sows the wind, it will reap the whirlwind. When a nation removes God, instead of enjoying God’s blessings, that nation will be the recipient of His curses. This is happening right before our eyes. A calamity is coming, and God, in His mercy, sends it to wake us from our deep sleep. Many who reside in the 51^st state of delusion will see the light and repent while there is yet time.
• United Kingdom and Charles Darwin. Buried in the foundation of Westminster Abby, along with great and godly saints of the past, such as John Wesley, George Whitefield, is Charles Darwin. He was buried in the Abby after pressure was applied and the Christian leaders of the day bowed to the pressure. What a picture of the foundations of the British culture being destroyed. In England today, Biblical Christianity is almost extinct because Darwinian evolution and all that entails is buried in the foundation of the Christian Church in England. The same fate will completely overtake the USA if we are not careful. To the extent that we bury evolution in the American Christian church and our culture, we bury godless Darwin in our Christian foundation, and the US will become what England is today, a non-Christian country, under the condemnation of God.
• Wokeness has corrupted society in general, and in particular, it is corrupting the evangelical church. Such things as Critical Race Theory, Social Justice, Black Lives Matter, Intersectionality, and White Privilege are all being taught as Biblical. And all are a direct assault on the truth of scripture and God Himself. We have racists condemning others for being racist when that is not the truth. We have Christian leaders taking us in the wrong direction, assuming the problem in the USA is the color of one’s skin and not the color of one’s heart. Institutions change only when the heart of its leaders has changed, hence the imperative of gospel truth. A woke Christian is a contradiction in terms. A racist Christian is a contradiction in terms. A pro-choice Christian is a contradiction in terms. A pro-homosexuality, pro-gay marriage Christian is a contradiction in terms.

To Summarize and conclude

According to Albert Barnes, the psalmist is talking about a society or culture in which the, “Truth is no longer respected, when justice is no longer practiced, when fraud and violence have taken the place of honesty and honor, when error prevails, and when integrity and virtue no longer afford any security to the righteous man and woman.”

Truth is no longer respected.

• We are told the truth is subjective, relative, or situational. You have your truth and I have mine. Does truth work that way? No, it doesn’t. The truth always corresponds with reality. Truth doesn’t care one bit about “your truth” or “my truth”. Truth doesn’t care if hearing the truth offends you or me. The person who steals is a thief. A thief is a criminal, not a victim, as some would have us believe. God’s laws are not open for negotiation, and neither is the truth. I may claim to own 10 costly houses worth millions of dollars, but that claim doesn’t make it accurate. It is true if, in fact and reality, I do own that many houses and if the real market value of those houses is 50 million. My claim alone doesn’t make it accurate. My claim must correspond with reality. For a man to claim he is a woman is not true; it is not reality. A man can wear a dress, put on makeup, take hormone drugs, and even have surgery to remove male organs, but that will never change the reality and the truth that a man is a man biologically and genetically. Yet Democrats and others want all of us to deny reality and truth and live in a phony woke world created by their demented minds. To comply with the progressive is to dishonor God and disrespect the truth.
• If the end justifies the means, then truth or lies are equally valid. How much evil is still being caused in the world because of this philosophy that the end justifies the means? Truth becomes an option rather than a necessary ingredient. Lies are often employed to secure the end. It is a great evil and a denial of our moral nature. This is why many politicians lie to achieve their desired end. The arrogant left “knows” what is best for us, and therefore they will tell us lies to get us to comply if that is necessary. They say they do it for our good and the good of society, which is another lie. They do it to gather as much power as possible and to hell with the truth.
• Very few church kids or adults believe truth is absolute. Makes one wonder what these churchgoers think and why they believe it. They must look at scripture as a list of options, suggestions, and pleasant fables and not the very Word of the Creator and our Savior.
• It has been said that Hitler or Stalin spoke the following: “People will sooner believe a big lie than a small lie.” It has also been said that “If you tell a lie long enough, loud enough, and often enough, people will believe it”. Some big lies that are constantly being told us and believed today are 1) the lie of materialistic evolution, 2) the lie of man-made climate change being an existential threat to mankind require immediate draconian counter measures or our planet will become extinct, 3) the lie that some of us are born homosexual and that they can’t change, 4) the lie that a person can change their gender, 5) the lie that socialism, communism or anything like these forms of government are beneficial, 6) the lie that there is no such thing as absolute truth, 7) the lie that the Word of God is not true, accurate, authoritative and trustworthy, 8) the many spiritual lies that follow on page 21.

When justice is no longer practiced

• We have murdered 62 million babies in the USA and well over 1 billion around the world since 1973. Can you think of a greater example of injustice in the history of mankind? As evil as slavery was in the USA, it is not comparable to the slaughter of over 62 million babies, of which a disproportionate number are black and brown babies.
• Our judicial system is corrupt, partial, and selective. Our political class seems to get away with breaking laws that us mere mortals are sent to jail for breaking. The rich buy justice, but the poor can’t afford it. The political elite weaponize justice against their foes. The righteous do not trust the justice system or our top leaders in law enforcement and the DOJ.
• We have a movement within the culture and in the Christian church that seeks to advance Social Justice, but it is an anti-Christian Marxist ideology masquerading as Christian justice, which it is not. Marxism is evil through and through. It is not simply non-Christian, it is anti-Christian. I have heard it said that all truth is God’s truth and that Marxism contains truth that is useful in advancing a just society. Nonsense. Nothing in Marxism is helpful or truthful. If an absolute truth is present in what Marxism teaches, it came first from the truth of the Bible and not Marxism. Social Justice means that society, and not the God of the Bible, defines justice. Someone’s ideas about justice, ethics, and morality will prevail. Cursed are those who put their trust in man and not in God.

When fraud and violence have taken the place of honesty and honor

• Confidence in the integrity of our elections is very low. We have many politicians attempting to steal elections through fraud and other means. The end justifies the means, according to these thieves. There is a mountain of evidence, yet these same liars claim there is no evidence whatsoever. Moreover, they refuse to audit the records and ballots to ascertain the truth. They know the truth, and that is why they will not permit an audit. They have no honor and refuse to advance laws to protect election integrity. They are dishonest because their end justifies dishonesty. I heard this saying attributed to Stalin. He said something on the order of “the one who cast the vote determines nothing, the one who counts the votes determines everything.” That is certainly the motto of the Democratic Party. If they can’t win honestly, they will win by fraud. The end justifies the means.
• Our mainstream media outlets are thoroughly discredited. They are another arm of the dishonest Democrat Party and don’t even bother to hide it. Many of us never watch the national news because it lies about everything and it lies all the time. And they lie by their silence. The mainstream news media is not trustworthy. I pray that God will destroy their influence and show the world how wicked and feckless they are.
• Killing babies is the worst form of violence imaginable.
• Democrat run cities have become havens of lawlessness and violence. Crime is increasing significantly under their demonic leadership. Think of the violent riots of the last few years, which were aided and abetted by Democrats. Think of the dramatic increases in all kinds of crime, especially violent crime, in Democrat run cities.
• There is little to no honor in our political institutions. How can there be honor when liars, thieves, and murderers run our local, state, and national governments?

When error prevails

• Not a few Christian churches are teaching their congregations that the law of God is abolished in direct contradiction to the words of Jesus when He said, “Think not that I came to abolish the law but to fulfill it.” The result of such teaching is to encourage lawlessness, and that is what we see even within the Church of Jesus Christ.
• To add insult to injury, these same Churches are telling their congregations that once they believe in Jesus and trust Him for their salvation, they will go to heaven no matter how wicked they become in this life. The result of this false teaching is seen in the statistics. Christians are as wicked as the rest of society, maybe even more wicked.
• Christian Churches are teaching their members that they cannot obey the law of God. They believe we are born sinners who can’t do anything but sin. Is this not the best excuse for living in sin that you have ever heard? Could Satan think of a better deception? I think not. This error is misleading many and paving the way to perdition.
• How is it possible that a Christian Church could teach such a wicked error as this? They say obedience to God and repentance from sin are not a necessary attribute and condition of saving faith in Jesus Christ. Lawlessness is being taught from the pulpit.
• Some Christian Churches teach that a faithful born-again Christian will sin in thought, word, and deed every day. This error has produced more hypocrites than almost any other false teaching. No wonder much of the secular world laughs at the Christian Church.
• The false understanding of imputed righteousness whereby we are taught that Jesus obeys for us and that His perfect obedience counts for our ongoing disobedience, our ongoing sin. Darkness passes for light in many churches in America.
• Christian Churches in America believe the love of God is His only virtue, and they ignore His holiness and justice. This error lies in their lack of discernment about the meaning of love. Their love is a sentimental, foolish thing that is not true. True love always tells the truth. To tell sinners these errors proves they have no love for God or man.
• Rather than tell the homosexual that if they do not repent, they will die in their sin and go to hell, they are told that homosexuality is normal and good and nothing to be ashamed of. They are led to believe that they are born homosexual and that they can’t change. Yet many thousands of former homosexuals have found salvation from this sin through Jesus Christ. This phony compassion is what the Bible declares is hate, not love at all. Woe to those who call evil good and good evil. Rather than telling people that there are only two genders, they let many suffer the consequences of their lack of love and let them suffer in darkness and confusion, not knowing what gender they are.
• Today, what God says is evil, our culture and much of the Christian Church say is good and not evil. They call God a liar and go on their merry way, living in their delusions.
• Our political and governmental systems too often reward the lazy, undisciplined, and dishonest while punishing the diligent, disciplined, and honest citizen. Again, this false idea of love and compassion is destroying lives, not saving lives.
• Man-made climate change is as false as the day is long. It is nothing more than a power grab by politicians. This error has the potential to destroy and starve the world while claiming to be the salvation of the world. We hear of uprisings around the globe right now as a result of this false belief.
• Evolution attempts to explain reality without God. It takes away hope and renders existence meaningless. It says that we are all beasts. So why not eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we die. It says there is no such thing as sin and a God who will ultimately hold wicked people accountable for their deeds. It says there is no existence after our physical death. But they teach us another error. The truth is that you will live forever. It will be life with God in heaven or life in the eternal fire of hell with the devil and all his followers. Choose ye this day who you will serve.

When integrity and virtue no longer afford any security to the righteous man or woman

• We live in a day when evil is called good and good is called evil. And goodwill either triumphs over evil or evil will persecute good. In other words, the righteous man or woman will be made to suffer, and the criminal will be set loose to do their evil freely. This is exactly what is happening before our very eyes. The wicked are provided security while the righteous are constantly threatened, ridiculed, mocked, and harassed.
• With the increase in crime in many Democrat-run cities, citizens are no longer safe because police have been defunded or demoralized, the guilty have been set free, and corrupt and godless politicians and judges reward evil.
• To talk about integrity means that people must have a moral compass, but politicians, business leaders, and most of the rich and powerful are selfish sinners by choice. Their moral compass is broken. A selfish person has, at best, situational integrity. Only when people get right with and stay right with God, their Creator and Father, is there any hope whatsoever for this nation or any nation. Nations that honor God will be blessed. Nations that refuse to love God in truth and righteousness will be cursed. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows that shall he also reap.

What must we do to change the trajectory of our nation?

The only way to overcome lies is 1) by knowing the truth, 2) living the truth, and 3) then by telling others the truth. Have you ever wondered why certain groups are so effective given their small numbers? Take, for example, the homosexual community. They, at most, represent around 2% of the population, yet they have completely changed our culture in a very short period. Let me suggest to you a few reasons they have been so successful.

• They are fully devoted and wholly consecrated to their cause.
• They are willing to commit much time and much money to their cause.
• They are willing to fight anyone, anytime, and anywhere to advance their cause.
• They will not stop until they achieve their objectives.

You ask what it will take to change things in our country. It will take real Christians and real patriots who understand that all their time, money, property, talent, and resources must be devoted to God and His will. It will take followers of Christ who will sacrifice anything and everything to advance God’s kingdom. Of those who name the name of Christ in the USA, is there 1 in a million who understands this and has consciously made this commitment to God Almighty? I do not know. Are you one of those rare and precious souls?

It is said of the apostles of Jesus Christ that these few men changed the entire world. They were entirely consecrated to doing the will of God, and that is what it takes. Someone once said, “Pray as if everything depends on God and work as though everything depends on you”. No man or woman is smart enough and good enough to save us. We must cry out for the intervention of God and His great mercy, for we have offended Him infinitely.
