For many years now, the progressives have been pushing this agenda. Our Federal and State Governments are at the forefront of this move, seeking to enshrine these principles into law and force all Americans to accept and even celebrate their perverse agenda. You will immediately notice that I have altered the order of their words. It is almost always listed as Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, D.E.I. Even the progressives can’t stomach the acronym, D.I.E., even though this acronym is undoubtedly a most fitting one given the result of their ideology.
At first glance, this triple focus seems somewhat reasonable. We should welcome a variety (diversity) of opinions. It can improve decision-making. And we should try to include (inclusion) as many people, from a variety of backgrounds, as we can in making decisions that affect our culture and social structure. Equity is about providing equal access. All that seems reasonable at some level.
Clear thinking about diversity, inclusion, and equity recognizes that not everyone will agree on everything. Most progressive proponents of diversity, inclusion, and equity believe that everyone should adopt their views on what this entails and its importance. That is not diversity, inclusion, and equity. It is forced or coerced conformity. That is not reasonable or acceptable.
To get right to the point. The critical issues relate to moral problems. Under the D.I.E. banner, Christians who hold fast to a Biblical world view will never agree to, much less celebrate, such things as gender madness, abortion up to the moment of birth, or gay marriage. If progressive proponents of diversity, inclusion, and equity believed in their principles, they would welcome diverse points of view, not censure them, and most assuredly not punish them. Nor would they hide behind their contrived views of hate and hate speech to eliminate views they despise. Many Christians, including me, despise the progressives’ thinking about most everything, but few of us want to forbid them from expressing their views. And fewer still want to punish them for their opinions.
The reality is that we will never agree, so how do we live together? I am going to do everything I can (that is legal, non-violent, and Biblical) to overthrow abortion on demand, gender madness, gay marriage, and so on. Many progressives are going to do everything they can (even if it is illegal, violent, and unbiblical) to stop me and others like me. In contrast, I will not deny them their right to hold to any opinion they want and to express it publicly. However, they will deny me the right to express my point of view publicly. Progressives are traitors to their principles, or their principles are all lies.
The Bible’s word on this subject is God’s command to love your neighbor as you love yourself. If that were ever practiced, the need for diversity, inclusion, and equity training and or programs would be eliminated. Why, then, don’t we put God’s commandments back into our schools, courts, businesses, and politics? Our political, academic, and business leadership is dead set on eliminating almost all references to our nation’s Biblical moral foundation and turning this nation into a godless nation, secular to the core. Their licentiousness breeds contempt toward the God of our nation’s founders. And in doing so, they are destroying the only sure foundation for our culture. This is why the acronym DIE is the right one, for death is the progressive goal. Their progressive views mean the death of our Christian culture (what little remains of it), the death of a free press, the death of free speech, the death of freedom of religion, the death of western civilization, the physical death of many others (but especially babies) and the spiritual death of a countless number of people who embrace their lies. They will not enter heaven themselves and want to prevent others from entering the kingdom of God. Misery loves company.
Why is the progressive idea of inclusion only unidirectional? It seems that inclusion includes everyone but those who hold to a Biblical worldview of marriage, sex, sexuality, and gender, to mention a few “obstacles” to genuine inclusion. Why must diversity go beyond immutable characteristics into behavioral choices? Why must equity punish those who are responsible while excusing and rewarding the irresponsible? We all know why. The progressive is at war with the God of the Bible and all who dare to follow Him.
Someone’s view of morality is going to become the law of the land and the foundation of our culture. The progressive’s view of morality is death to righteousness and the enshrinement of godlessness, lawlessness and paganism. Should the progressives ever gain full control of the United States of America, the resulting totalitarianism will be exceedingly bloody. It’s in their nature. They bring death everywhere they go. They also bring the judgment of a holy God on our nation. A Christian world view brings life, peace, truth, prosperity, happiness, and righteousness. Righteousness exalts our nation and brings the blessings of Almighty God. I have already made my choice.
